COMiKON is an annual pop culture festival that has been held since 2017 in İstanbul, offering a packed program and workshops in animation, comic books, manga, game design, illustration, cosplay, science fiction cinema, fantasy literature, and many more areas that you won't be able to keep up with due to its abundance of events.

Satoshi Shiki at COMiKON
The world-renowned mangaka Satoshi Shiki, who has worked on many mangas such as "Riot, Dororo, Attack on Titan: Before The Fall," was at COMiKON.
Kaneko Atsushi at COMiKON
Kaneko Atsushi is a Japanese manga artist, from Sakata. Two of their works, "Bambi and the Pink Gun" and "Toprak," have been published in French. "Bambi and the Pink Gun" has also been published in English. "Toprak" was adapted into a television drama series.
Yuriko Yamaguchi
Voice actress Yuriko Yamaguchi, known for voicing many characters such as Orochimaru in Naruto and Nico Robin in One Piece, was at COMiKON.
Yuriko Yamaguchi, born in Osaka in 1965, is known for her roles as the voice of important characters such as Nico Robin in One Piece and Orochimaru in Naruto. The veteran voice actress has worked in many globally renowned anime series, including Neon Genesis Evangelion, Pokemon, Detective Conan, Inuyasha, Shaman King, Full Metal Panic!, Hajime no Ippo, and Clannad.
Toru Furuya
Experienced voice actor Toru Furuya, known as Yamcha in Dragon Ball and Sabo in One Piece, was at COMiKON. The artist performed live voice acting for his characters.
Born in Yokohama in 1953, Toru Furuya began his career in the entertainment industry in the 1960s. During his childhood, he performed on stage with the Himawari Theater Group. In the anime industry, he made a name for himself in the 1970s with series like Gundam and Battleship Yamato. He went on to voice important characters such as Yamcha in Dragon Ball, Pegasus Seiya in Saint Seiya, Mamoru Chiba-Tuxedo Mask in Sailor Moon, Sabo in One Piece, and also worked in famous series like Detective Conan, Macross, Black Jack, Urusei Yatsura, GTO, Inuyasha, Pokemon, and Bleach.

Chiaki Omigawa, known for her voice acting roles in many anime series such as "Kotaro Lives Alone," "Soul Eater," and "Last Exile," was among the famous guests at COMiKON Istanbul.
TV TOKYO
TV TOKYO, Japan, came to Türkiye/Turkey for COMiKON. TV Tokyo, which has been involved in the production and broadcasting of numerous anime series such as Naruto, Gintama, Beyblade, Bleach, Cowboy Bebop, and many others, set up booths where they offered a variety of licensed products. Additionally, there was a special presentation by the channel's representatives.
Noruyuki Abe
The director of the Bleach and Boruto series, Noruyuki Abe, was also at COMiKON! There was a discussion with him about the future of these series.
Born in Kyoto in 1961, Noriyuki Abe has directed award-winning anime series such as Bleach and Yu Yu Hakusho, presented to viewers by Studio Pierrot. His most recent anime, Boruto, has gained worldwide acclaim. We also know Abe from anime series like GTO, Kuroshitsuji (Black Butler), Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins), and The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky.
